At the Global South WASH Finance Conference 2026 in Kathmandu, Nepal, WaterLinks was represented by Board Member Mr. Dorai Narayana at the workshop “Unlocking Urban Sanitation Finance: Gaps, Models, and Scalable Inclusive Solutions,” convened by the Citywide Inclusive Sanitation Alliance Nepal and UN-Habitat Nepal.
Mr. Narayana highlighted the critical role of regulatory frameworks, tariffs, and accountability mechanisms in enabling sustainable financing, emphasizing how stronger governance can unlock new pathways for investment and inclusive service delivery across urban contexts.
