WaterLinks together with United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), National Economic Development Authority (NEDA), organized the NRW Management Training held on March 9-10, 2020 in cooperation with Philippine Association of Water Districts (PAWD) and MIYA to strengthen the capacity of water utility operators in the Philippines, especially the smaller Class B and C water districts that have limited knowledge of NRW, its impact on their service performance, and methods to manage it. The main objective of the training was to introduce non-revenue water management that can be applied to the different cities and municipalities in the Philippines. The training program was a combination of technical lectures focusing on non-revenue water management supplemented by hands-on demonstrations on leak detection and meter reading including a visit to the Warehouse of Maynilad.
